    Mathematica is currently seeking a Digital Resources Librarian to develop and maintain comprehensive, current digital research collection and information systems to support the company’s strategic plan, mission, and vision. This position is within the Princeton, NJ area. Other locations available as well.

    Core Responsibilities:

    Review and analyze a variety of complex data and information to evaluate existing and emerging digital content. Gather, analyze, and report data on usage, cost, and other factors to make acquisitions and renewal recommendations to department management that rationalize necessary and eliminate unnecessary expenses. Oversee reference databases and make strategic suggestions for renewals and acquisitions to support the business needs. Strong history and success in tracking usage data and developing and monitoring budgets and expenditures required.
    Identify theories, techniques, and technologies to improve access to information, and apply evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of the company’s electronic information systems in meeting organizational needs. Maintain efficient and cost-effective systems, supported by sophisticated and timely usage metrics. Analyze and critically assess complex information using traditional and emergent technologies including evaluating the credibility, validity, and value of diverse information sources. Perform regular audits of the information and inventory on file.
    Demonstrated expertise drafting and disseminating business development and project deliverables, as well as engaging a range of internal and external stakeholders in the health, human services, and international policy research fields
    Conduct high-level research, complex literature reviews, and citation processing for projects and proposals; independently execute other digital information research tasks and deliverables in close coordination with business units, project teams, initiative leads, and business development colleagues.
    Evaluate and employ technologies to access and retrieve information using diverse search tools and effective search strategies. Support business unit staff with development of search strategies, document delivery, and alerts.
    Develop, coordinate, and/or conduct training for staff related to digital literacy and provide technical assistance to support access and positive user experience with electronic resources.
    Prepare capability statements, write proposal sections, and prepare labor and materials budget estimates for proposals as needed; perform searches, develop summaries and disseminate market intelligence information to support enterprise initiatives and business development efforts.
    Work closely with business units, Communications, and Information Technology staff to manage, maintain, and disseminate digital information resources, knowledge, and information.
    Actively support the advancement of organizational diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, and apply diversity, equity, and inclusion lens across job responsibilities.
