The Associate Librarian/Archivist’s primary responsibility is to create finding aides and prepare digitized archival records for inclusion in OHS’s online database. The incumbent will also be expected to assist the Chief Librarian/Archivist with the daily operation of the OHS Library and Archives and perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Information Science or Library Science with a concentration in archives management
Demonstrated experience with processing digitized archival records, archives management, and digital preservation
Must embrace the mission of Organ Historical Society
Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail
Strong interpersonal, oral communication, and writing skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
Display a positive attitude, show concern for people and community, demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, and good listening ability
Must be able to work between regular business hours (8am to 4pm)
