In addition to collecting statistics for library books that circulate in your LMS, what are some other resources your circulation department has and checks out to support circulation data? Has anyone considered circulating supply kits for students? It may seem like an idea for public libraries, but students in an academic setting often need a set of supplies. That may include glue, scissors, scrap paper, a pen, and a highlighter. I think it may be helpful for education majors and for those who are creating poster presentations for research. Sure, it will provide a very minimal increase in circulation statistics, but I think every number counts, right? Thoughts?
