Growing Together: Education and Connections

Through cooperative programs and activities, TCLC offers library staff the opportunity to participate in a variety of low-cost and free opportunities as well as the chance to actively engage colleagues and develop professional networks.

Every spring we offer a full-day program of interesting speakers covering topics important to the spectrum of library workers from degreed librarians to support staff. In the summer, we host a Summer Camp which offers hands-on technology training and other skills. Throughout the year, there are short workshops covering a range of topics from business resources to copyright issues to self-care. Additionally, we organize field trips to national libraries and other locations of professional and educational interest.
