Even with only having 4 work study students, it is rare that they all overlap working. On those occasions, I like to gather them for a party/get together, with food of course. The rest of the staff joins in when they can. It is nice to all sit around the conference table spending time together and getting to know each other better. I’ve noticed that their connections are stronger after these gatherings. I plan on having one last gathering before the semester ends.
